Important Notes
-
All applicants must be current members of IAGS before registering for the conference. Scholarship funds will not cover IAGS membership fees. Memberships, on an income sliding scale, are available from the IAGS website.
-
Please note: As of June 10th we have a limited number of full, partial, and registration-only scholarships.
-
IAGS does not have the capacity to fund all applicants. This is a competitive process, and scholarships will be awarded based on the quality of the application and the applicant's financial need. The scholarship awards will depend on the number of accepted applicants and the availability of funds.
-
If a successful applicant subsequently receives funding from another source, that applicant must inform IAGS as soon as they are notified about receiving external funding. The IAGS scholarship will be reduced accordingly to allow the funds to be distributed to other applicants. Although multiple sources of partial funding may be necessary to cover the entire cost of attending the conference, accepting funding from another source and IAGS for the same costs is not permitted.
